Compass Box Flaming Heart (2022 Edition)
Compass Box brings the 2022 Edition of its Flaming Heart expressions. The seventh in the range, this blended malt Scotch whisky is limited to 9,606 bottles, and combines a symphony of liquid, including previous Compass Box big hitters, Peat Monster Arcana and Flaming Heart 2018, as well as offerings from Laphroaig and Glen Elgin. With the blend resting in toasted French oak casks for over five years, naturally coloured and non-chill filtered, this is a loud, fruity, smoke machine. Bottled up at 48.9% ABV.

Nose
Rich, smouldering embers, with toasted oak, gingerbread, and twists of waxy lemon.
Palate
Meaty smoke, sizzling bacon, caramelised maple, with rich baking spices.
Finish
Savoury smoke lingers, with peppery spice building.
