A great blended malt from Compass Box. This was specially crafted by John Glaser, the whisky zealot. It contains highland single malts like Teaninich and secret malts from the villages of Carron and Brora.
Light, stewed fruit, ginger, spice, toffee apple, stewed fruits.
Tart fruit, red apples, tannic, honey, tiny hint of Christmas spice.
Oak, malt, spicy sweetness, milk.
An excellent lighter Scotch. As the label says, "Malty, Toasty, Elegant."
Very fruity
After trying Spice Tree I decided to go for this. Awesome blends, great quality for the money.
Nothing wrong with this at all - hits all the right, smooth notes, reminiscent of Chivas Regal 12, - creamy, fruity, with a subtle sweetness. I'm a huge fan of Compass Box's other offerings - especially Spice Tree and Hedonism - and this is a lovely added colour to their beautiful palate
Absolutely outstanding, surely the best blend ive had , well worth the price and i will most definitely be purchasing again. Vanilla citrussy lovely fruity smell, lovely mouth feel coats your mouth with light spicy sweetness.
