Ooh, sherried Clynelish! Delish! This right here is a 24 year old single malt from the Clynelish Distillery, which was distilled in November 1995 and aged in a refill sherry butt until June 2020. Following that, it was bottled up by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection, with an outturn of only 556 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Red apples, chewy dates and walnuts, mixed with a savoury whiff of old oak furniture.
Palate
Juicy red berries, dark chocolate, salt and pepper crisps and just a hint of the classic Clynelish waxiness.
Finish
Lasting orange and cinnamon.
