From Hunter Laing's Old Malt Cask series comes a 21 year old Clyenlish, distilled back in December 1996 and bottled in August 2018 at 50% ABV. Only 325 bottles were produced in celebration of Old Malt Cask's 20th anniversary.
Nose: Salted butter on toasted tea cakes, peppery rye and a touch of lychee.
Palate: Floral as it opens, but soon enough it's back to classic Clynelish savoury notes and fresh fruit.
Finish: Lingering cassia and nutmeg, with just a touch of melon.
