Clynelish 21 Year Old 1996 - Old Malt Cask (Hunter Laing)
From Hunter Laing's Old Malt Cask series comes a 21 year old Clyenlish, distilled back in December 1996 and bottled in August 2018 at 50% ABV. Only 325 bottles were produced in celebration of Old Malt Cask's 20th anniversary.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Salted butter on toasted tea cakes, peppery rye and a touch of lychee.
Palate
Floral as it opens, but soon enough it's back to classic Clynelish savoury notes and fresh fruit.
Finish
Lingering cassia and nutmeg, with just a touch of melon.
