Single cask Clynelish, aged for 20 years in a refill butt. This was distilled in December 1996 and filled into cask #11381, when was set aside to mature until March 2017, when Signatory got their hands on the whisky to bottle it for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttered apples, light oak-y smoke, stem ginger and Demerara sugar.
Palate
Cedar, coffee bean and caramel. Hints of honeydew melon develop.
Finish
Slightly oily on the finish.
