We do love a Sherried Clynelish, and that's exactly what we've got here from the fantastic Signatory folks. This was distilled in September 1995, matured in a refill Sherry butt and bottled in March 2016 for the Cask Strength Collection. 626 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Waxy red apples, allspice, raisins, tobacco and gingerbread.
Palate
More gingerbread, now with chocolate icing. Light hints of peat, butterscotch and Mocha.
Finish
Honey and sea salt.
