Clynelish 17 Year Old 1997 - Lady of the Glen (Hannah Whisky Merchants)
Bottled for the Lady of the Glen range and presented with an attractive bag, this Clynelish spent over 17 years in a single bourbon cask. The bottle itself is individually numbered (with the number etched into the glass) and the outturn was 267 bottles. Distilled on 29th October 1997 and bottled on 1st September 2015.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Creamy on the nose, vanilla milkshake, a little cream soda and candied orange peel.
Palate
Now into custard and golden syrup, even a little treacle with biscuit and star anise.
Finish
Long, creamy, spiced finish.
