A richly indulgent blended Scotch whisky from longtime favourite, Chivas. The Chivas Regal 18 Year Old was personally created by Master Blender Colin Scott, including over 20 single malts from around Scotland. Definitely no stranger to awards, this one. It even took home the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2014 Trophy for Blended Scotch Whisky! A supreme sipper, but also rather good for cocktails if you fancy giving them an upgrade.
The nose offers marmalade and malt, a hint of custard, coconut ice and nutmeg.
Winter spices and malt on the palate with barley, Seville orange marmalade and oak.
The finish is spiced and warming with oak and cinnamon.

Started with this scotch and love it. One of the best and I’ve tasted more expensive. Very smooth with just the tight amount of burn.
For a bleneded scotch, superb! I agree with the comment made below. I would much rather have an excellent blended scotch than a "that was ok" single malt. I have this at home, and Chivas is one of my "go-to" scotch. Kris
I'm a huge fan of Chivas 25 - simply one of the best blends in the world, and hugely satisfying, but I had never tried the 18 year old, which is available at about a quarter of the price. It's a lovely drink, thick, creamy, full of taste, with a slightly spicy, quite dry finish. It is smooth, as expected, but not in the same league as the 25. Happy I've tried it, and will enjoy this bottle, but I'll stick to the 25 from now on.
title says it all. Chivas 18 is one of the best scotch you can get at about 18 USD. Period.
I'm a single malt snob. It affects my rating. If this were a single malt that was "tastes exactly like new Air Jordans", I may give it as high as a 9. Given it's just a blend, I think "really all they can do is make it taste like a pair of new sneaks?" but also think it's decently drinkable and not too expensive, so give it a 7. Though it's not all that cheap either. Likely won't buy again regardless; too much else in the world.
