Description

Chivas Regal 25 year old is a showstopper of a blend, a serial award winner that always delivers. It's crafted from a mighty blend of malt and grain whiskies which have been matured in specially-selected casks for at least a quarter of a century.

Nose

Rich, nutty and thick with notes of malt and berry fruits, hints of liquorice, raspberries and sweet porridge oats.

Palate

Soft and gentle but it builds with an elegant toffee-like character, very butter. Hints of boiled sweets, aniseed and custard.

Finish

Abrupt, but earthy, with butterscotch on the tail.

Yes...its definitely a worthwhile whisky...I've purchased a few and I will purchase a few more bottles for relatives and friends....I want to compare it with King George V...see which is better..

Fishincracker

In April, 2015 I told my wife of 44 years that I made up my "bucket list" and number #1 on that list was a bottle of 25 year old Chivas Regal. At the end of June she sent my son to find me one. what a surprise and what total joy for me to share with my family such a wonderful gift. Can you put something back on your bucket list? Would that be cheating?

Regal-arity

I turned this Quarter Century bottle upside down with ease on my birthday. This by far should be on everyone''s shelf and is unbelievably smooth. This Chivas recipe will always have me looking to keep this bottle stocked and if you have not enjoyed this near perfect whisky, you should do yourself a favor and treat yourself. You''ll thank me later.

The Greatest

Such a smooth, full, rich but subtle blend - skillfully produced and worth every penny. Nectar indeed. The range if tastes are massive, and so smooth like velvet. For discerning palates everywhere.
