Description

It's a bold, spicy Cask Proof release of the awesome Roundstone Rye whiskey from Catoctin Creek! Just like its lower proof counterpart it's distilled entirely from rye, sourced locally whenever possible and aged in new Minnesota white oak casks – though this one is bottled at a generous 58% ABV. Sure to stand out in cocktails!

Nose

Crème brûlée and Lotus biscuits, with spicy rye and touches of menthol alongside treacle and date sweetness.

Palate

Peppery spice leads into buttercream icing, oily citrus and oak, with underlying herbals notes.

Finish

Dried fruit and spicy wood lingers alongside rich chocolate.
