A rarity in the grain whisky world, it's a single grain Scotch from the gone but not forgotten Carsebridge distillery, which ceased operations back in 1983. Distilled in 1976, the whisky spent a generous 45 years maturing in a single refill hogshead that was opened by Douglas Laing in 2022, releasing a total of 239 bottles for the Xtra Old Particular collection.
