Unfortunately, we can't ship Carsebridge 40 Year Old 1976 (cask 11587) - Xtra Old Particular (Douglas Laing) to the United States at the moment, but we've got some friends who can.
A rare bottling of Carsebridge single grain Scotch whisky, distilled in October 1976 and bottled 40 years later in February 2017 by Douglas Laing for the Xtra Old Particular range. Carsebridge is sadly closed, but their whisky can still be enjoyed thanks to indie bottlings like this. A release of 148 cask strength bottles.
Nose: Syrup-drenched orchard fruits, cacao powder and white pepper.
Palate: Buttered corn, Christmas spice, juicy apple, milk chocolate and pancake batter.
