A sight seldom seen - single grain from the closed Carsebridge distillery! This was distilled back in December 1982 and aged in a refill Sherry butt until July 2017, when Signatory came along to bottle it for their Cask Strength Collection with an outturn of 169 bottles.
Balsa wood, almond croissants, dark chocolate and juicy strawberries.
Drying, oaky spices arrive first - cassia, cinnamon, clove and peppercorn. Develops layers of toffee and Nutella later on.
Touches of cherry brandy and spiced rum on the finish.
