Carsebridge 29 Year Old 1981 - The Clan Denny (Douglas Laing)
This is single cask, bourbon-matured grain whisky from the Clan Denny range. It was distilled at Carsebridge in 1981 before a 29 year maturation in first-fill hogshead 6609. It was bottled at natural cask strength.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sweet, toasted nose. Hints of soft oak, cinnamon and a little caramel.
Palate
Thick, sweet, creamy palate entry. Boiled sweets, custard, a touch of orange peel and allspice.
Finish
Cooked banana and stem ginger.
