Canmore 12 Year Old
Commemorating the legacy of the noble Scottish Canmore dynasty, this single malt was carefully selected and matured for a dozen years in ex-bourbon barrels. Canmore is Gaelic for Great Chief – a nickname fondly given to King Malcolm by his people, over whom he reigned between 1051 and 1093. This is a fabulously versatile single malt, carefully balanced, making it ideal for sipping and mixing alike.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Chocolate buttons and buttered malt loaf, creamy vanilla, and crisp, green apple.
Palate
Gently cakey spice builds, with soft barley and mellow oak, a touch of orange zest and festive biscuits.
Finish
Lingering, delicate spice and floral vanilla pod, toasted oak with sweet, biscuity malt and a prickle of pepper.
