Cameronbridge 40yo #12767 Bottling Note

Richly well-matured single grain from the Cameronbridge distillery, bottled for the Xtra Old Particular range by Douglas Laing. Tasting Note by The Producer

A big hit of maple syrup immediately on the nose – then comes strawberry milkshake and a cereal sweetness. On the palate detect tinned peaches with sugar sprinkled raspberries, lots of warming spice and damp American oak. The long finish shows red fruits with pineapple chunks and clotted cream.
