Cameronbridge 39 Year Old 1976 (cask 900007) - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory)
A single cask 39 year old Cameronbridge single grain, bottled by Signatory for La Maison du Whisky. This was distilled back in April 1976 and left to age in a hogshead cask until August 2015, when it was bottled for the Cask Strength Collection with an outturn of just 303 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
A rush of tropical fruit notes - mango, grilled pineapple, honeydew melon. A subtle touch of thyme, too.
Palate
Waxy orange and dusty oak, joined by tobacco and Jelly Tots later on.
Finish
Herbaceous elements appear once again on the finish.
