33 year old single grain from Cameronbridge, bottled by Douglas Laing for the Xtra Old Particular range. This was distilled in March 1984 and set aside to mature in a refill hogshead until March 2017, when it was bottled with an outturn of 201 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Rich and creamy, sugary and spiced with sherbet and hard candy.
Palate
Oily, full and mouthcoatingly sweet with later cereals and spices.
Finish
Moreish in that same encapsulation of all those flavours.
