Independently bottled 32 year old Cameronbridge single grain Scotch whisky, aged in a refill hogshead from March 1984 to August 2016. Following its maturation, this whisky was bottled by Douglas Laing for their Xtra Old Particular range, which is reserved for rare, exciting bottlings. 254 bottles were produced.
Nose Buttered white bread, maple syrup, pink peppercorn and peanut brittle.
Palate Very creamy, with lingering exotic spices. A little bit of anise hides beneath the layers of vanilla.
Finish Apple and red berries, with a pinch of cinnamon.
