Cameronbridge 25 Year Old 1991 (cask 11316) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
Here's a Douglas Laing bottling of single grain Scotch whisky from the Cameronbridge distillery, aged for 25 year sin a refill hogshead. It was distilled in October 1991 and bottled in October 2016 with an outturn of 276 bottles released as part of the Old Particular range.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Soft and subtly oak-y. Packed full of vanilla and cooked fruit sweetness.
Palate
Chewy caramels and buttered bread. A heaped spoonful of brown sugar and a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Finish
Lingering ginger and clove.
