Sherry
Fab single grain Scotch whisky from the closed Cambus Distillery, independently bottled by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection. This one is particularly sherried, after spending 28 years in a refill sherry butt. It was distilled in May 1991 and bottled in March 2020, with an otuturn of 476 bottles.
Stewed fruit, coffee, cookie dough, a hint of orange and some earthy rye spiciness.
Juicy raisin and plum, with toasted sugar and cinnamon sticks. A hint of Golden Grahams is there too.
Rounded oak and more plum sweetness.
