Cambus 25 Year Old 1991 (cask 11353) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
Single cask single grain from the Cambus distillery, aged for 25 years in a refill hogshead from September 1991 to October 2016. After a quarter of a century of maturation, this was independently bottled by Douglas Laing for their Old Particular range. 282 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttered granary toast, with a light layer of marmalade.
Palate
Vanilla and yet more orange-y notes arrive on the palate, with a good helping of brown sugar and baking spices.
Finish
Medium length, with cinnamon and pepper sticking around.
