Nose Grassy and very grainy. This actually has quite a bit of fruit, orchard fruit mainly, herbal, some coffee too, caramel perhaps.
Palate Medium, herbal, hints of anise, pears, apple peel, pastries and oat cakes. Spices, maybe some soot.
Finish Slightly smoky on the finish, with oodles of barley, a touch of apple juice.
