A beautiful 45 year old single grain whisky, distilled in 1965 and aged in bourbon barrel 7501 before bottling for Duncan Taylor's Clan Denny range.
Bourbon barrel notes - charred oak, vanilla and espresso, a little caramel. Notes of toffee brittle, mozzarella and barley sugar.
Sweet and intense, oily and nutty. Notes of praline, lemon oil, toasted brioche.
Maple spices and nutmeg.
ONLY FEW GRAINWHISKYES ARE FOUND IN NORWAY. ONE OF THIS HAVE FOUND PLACE IN MY COLL. CAN BE OPENED IN 2015 !
