Though nothing but the large chimney remains of the Caledonian distillery, you can still get your hands on some of their tasty single grain whisky! This is a 29 year old Caledonian, matured in a single hogshead from April 1987 to January 2017, when Signatory bottled it for the Cask Strength Collection. 233 bottles were produced.
Nose: Coconut ice, milk chocolate, spicy cardamom and crumbly pastry.
Palate: Salted caramel, tangy orange peel, toasted bread smothered in Nutella.
Finish: Vanilla ice cream with strawberry sauce.
