Islay's Bunnahabhain distillery usually steers clear of peat, but not always! Here we have its peated Staoisha single malt, distilled in October 2013 and matured for 11 years in a refill hogshead. The cask was opened by North Star Spirits in February 2025, releasing 260 bottles without added colour or chill filtration. Expect roaring smoke, briny freshness and an underlying sweetness that rounds the experience. A brilliant dram for fans of big Islay flavours.
