Braeval 25 Year Old 1991 (cask 12815) - Old Malt Cask (Hunter Laing)
A single cask bottling of Braeval (the distillery formerly known as Braes of Glenlivet), aged for quarter of a century! This was distilled back in August 1991 and allowed to mature in a refill hogshead until October 2016, when Hunter Laing bottled it for the Old Malt Cask range.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Light wafts of red berries and brown bread. A core of chopped mint leaf and tulip petals.
Palate
Chocolate brownie, caramel sauce and floral malt.
Finish
A subtly hum of exotic spices begin to build on the finish.
