Braeval 18yo 1997 Bottling Note

A Sherry-butt-matured Braeval single malt, bottled by Hunter Laing. It was distilled in 1997 and allowed to mature for 18 years until 2016, when it was bottled for The First Editions range at cask strength. 312 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Honey-nut cornflakes, dried fruit, chocolate-coated espresso beans and cinnamon.

Palate: Dates, walnuts, marzipan, cardamom and some sawdust.

Finish: Rhubarb and blueberries, with a hint of grist in there.
