A 12 year old single malt from Royal Brackla, independently bottled by Signatory! This one was drawn from a pair of bourbon barrels, filled in May 2008 and left to slumber for a dozen years until July 2020. Marvellous stuff, this.
Honeyed cereal, fizzy orange and oak, with a hint of caramel too.
Orchard fruit, subtly oily with hints of hops, a slow build of cardamom heat.
Lime, banana bread and salted butter.
Just opened 30 minutes ago. Dib dabs without the licorice stick. Greenish oak background. Infact..... It's so very very similar to ledaig 1994 cournisours choice. Gordon mcphail bottling that it's uncanny. Tropical.
