Scotland
16 Jun 2009
10 Feb 2021
An indie bottling of single malt from the Royal Brackla Distillery, aged in a pair of first-fill bourbon barrels for 11 years - from June 2009 to February 2021. Following that rest, the whisky was bottled up by the ever-fabulous Signatory.
Buttery shortbread, waxy peels and some peppery malt.
Roasted almonds, marshmallow, dry malt, vanilla fudge.
Softly earthy on the finish, though vanilla sweetness goes on and on.

An 11 year old Royal Brackla bottled by Signatory for their vintage range in 2009. Butter shortbread, malt and vanilla in this. Not dry and finish is fairly mild but very nice too. Some nuts in there too. very tasty easy drinking dram this. alas its sold out. struth
