A Douglas Laing bottling of Blair Athol single malt Scotch whisky, matured in a single refill hogshead for 25 long years! It was distilled in June 1989 and bottled in October 2014 for the Xtra Old Particular range with an outturn of 309 bottles.
Herbaceous hops, lemon and lime peels, a subtle whiff of hard cheese.
Barley sugar, honey on granary toast, overripe peach, Oolong tea.
Melon, oatcakes and heather.

Sweet, slightly off, melon.
