This Highland dram spent its 13 years in a first-fill ruby Port hogshead, drawing out red fruit, spice and a plush, winey richness. Blair Athol’s malty heft handles it beautifully. Bottled at 57.7% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Black cherries, fruit preserves, hazelnut brittle and a hint of ginger.

Palate Port-soaked sponge cake, strawberry jam, candied orange peel and dark chocolate.

Finish Silky and spiced, with nutmeg and redcurrant tartness fading to toasted oak.
