Bladnoch 28 Year Old 1990 - North Star Spirits
A 1990 vintage single malt from Bladnoch, independently bottled by those North Star Spirits superstars. This one was distilled in January 1990 and left to age in a refill barrel for 28 years, after which it was bottled in September 2018 at cask strength. Only 97 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Tomato stem and forest floor, balanced by scoops of chocolate chip cookie dough.
Palate
Pear drops and cut herbs. Still enjoyably earthy and complex.
Finish
Mint chocolate, good brandy and a hint of caraway.
