It's a limited edition 10 Year Old expression of the awesome Black Bottle blend! This time the Islay whiskies that make up the blend have been rested in casks for a decade, and after that time have of course been bottled up in the classic black bottle. A good balance of peat alongside more fragrant and fruity notes in here.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Hints of smoke surround polished oak, aromatic spices and melted brown sugar, with apple sweeties and heather honey.

Palate Gingersnap biscuits and milk chocolate digestives, apple cake and pear drops alongside fragrant peat smoke.

Finish Golden syrup and spiced banana bread, with cinnamon and a lingering smokiness.

Disappointed
Disappointed.. not as good as the regular BB.
Definitely not worth £10 more.

Nice hint of Bunnahabn but sour aftertaste.

Oak Wood= nice
I love Laphroaig and this has a hint of my taste. Woody oaky cinnamon. It’s cheap enough in our local store to make a toddy after cycling home from a back shift in the winter and for the wife to put coke and her Jamaican bitter with ice in. ( she got a severe telling when she put coke in my Lore) And I like it neat or watered infact it’s my go to bottle for everyday. I can remember having it years ago with my grandfather and people say it’s changed but I can’t remember I like it. Even made a lamp out of an empty bottle as I like the look of that too
