Description
It's a limited edition 10 Year Old expression of the awesome Black Bottle blend! This time the Islay whiskies that make up the blend have been rested in casks for a decade, and after that time have of course been bottled up in the classic black bottle. A good balance of peat alongside more fragrant and fruity notes in here.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Hints of smoke surround polished oak, aromatic spices and melted brown sugar, with apple sweeties and heather honey.
Palate
Gingersnap biscuits and milk chocolate digestives, apple cake and pear drops alongside fragrant peat smoke.
Finish
Golden syrup and spiced banana bread, with cinnamon and a lingering smokiness.
