
Asgard is the home of the Æsir – the gods of Viking Norse mythology. We like to think they drank whisky there. Nordic whisky, of course, like the kind Bivrost makes at the worlds northernmost distillery in Arctic Norway. The malt is made from Nordic barley, distilled in a hi-tech still and matured in a comintation of bourbon and muscat casks in an old, underground NATO storage, as well as a modern viking longhouse, before being diluted with glacial meltwater.
Vanilla oak, caramel, leather, and dried fruit. There's a hint of incense drifting away in the backdrop.
Chewy dates, cinnamon buns, and toasted oak meld together in a rich palate.
Long and intense.
