Bivrost Jotunheim
Bivrost Jotunheim is another single malt whisky distilled in Arctic Norway, named after one of the Nine Worlds of Norse mythology. Jotunheim is the world of the giants, and it's mostly filled with rocks, dense forests, and wilderness. Oh, and giants, of course. The whisky itself has been matured in bourbon quarter casks and barrels from Heaven Hill, and was finished in ex-stout beer casks from the Graff Brewery.
This bottle was part of a private collection and may show signs of wear if of a certain vintage - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Honeycomb, dense malt, with layers of dark chocolate and red fruit.
Palate
Chocolatey once again, with a touch of hoppy brightness along the way. Still wonderfully malty.
Finish
Milky coffee and a hint of earthy spice.
