This is its Peated Cask expression, initially matured in first-fill bourbon barrels before a finish in quarter casks which previously held a peated Islay single malt! A brilliant balance of creamy bourbon influence and maritime smokiness, just 1,750 bottles were released at 54.1% ABV.
Subtle peat smoke underneath aromas of peach, cigar box, Sugar Puffs and sweet, creamy vanilla.
More peach, with oily peat smoke, fiery ginger spice and oak, leading into chocolate digestives and roasted coffee bean.
