Bimber Peated Cask Batch No.1
Another exciting limited edition release from London's Bimber Distillery! This is its Peated Cask expression, initially matured in first-fill bourbon barrels before a finish in quarter casks which previously held a peated Islay single malt! A brilliant balance of creamy bourbon influence and maritime smokiness, just 1,750 bottles were released at 54.1% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Subtle peat smoke underneath aromas of peach, cigar box, Sugar Puffs and sweet, creamy vanilla.
Palate
More peach, with oily peat smoke, fiery ginger spice and oak, leading into chocolate digestives and roasted coffee bean.
Finish
A dry finish of last bonfire smoke and peppery spices.
