Independent bottler Douglas Laing has built up a loyal following of fans of its smoky Islay blended malt, Big Peat, and we reckon they're going to be pretty excited when they see this! It's an Islay single malt, named Big Peat's Finest, distilled in 2016, matured for seven years, and bottled from a single hogshead for Douglas Laing's Old Particular collection. A release of 525 bottles.

Subtle tar and warm damp earth, then burnt toast, ash and bbq'd meat, with sweetness plus soot and coal dust.
