I am impressed with this special dram. It’s living proof that Blended malts should not be overlooked - the depth of flavour and overall quality was excellent.
Mighty impressed
Opened this last week and mighty impressed by the balance of peat, smoke, phenols and Islay with a sweet caramel rum impact. Impressive and moreish!
Really thrilled with the bottle I bought. Opened it last night and blown away by the depth of flavour and complexity. Islay lives on!
I have loved all of the expressions of Big Peat and this is another winner, beneath the oily surface, which I love is banana, pineapple, marshmallow,it's just the contrasts,it all works.I think the Xmas 22 edition had similar flavors but the rum casks just add another level.Downside, slightly overpriced.
