Big Peat - London Edition
A limited edition bottling of Duoglas Laing's esteemed Big Peat blended malt, made exclusively with malt whiskies from the Isle of Islay. This edition is presented at the slightly higher-than-usual ABV of 48%, and features a London-themed label. Big Peat even changed his jumper for the trip - a dashing navy blue has replaced the traditional mustard yellow.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Wafts of oily smoke and toasted walnuts, with a helping of green apple and ground clove in the background.
Palate
Toasted rye bread with butter, cut grass and earthy smoke.
Finish
A kick of black pepper joins in with peat and vanilla on the finish.
