Big Peat is turning 15 and to celebrate Douglas Laing has created this limited edition blend. Big Peat 15th Anniversary Limited Edition is a marriage of Islay single malts, with Caol Ila malt bringing sweetness, Bowmore adding balance, Ardbeg an earthy, medicinal quality, and Port Ellen, a degree of elegance. The malts were blended and then predominantly matured in hand-selected red wine casks. This release comes in a carton featuring 15 discoverable points about Big Peat, the Isle of Islay, and the whisky itself.
