A Signatory bottling of brill Benrinnes single malt, matured in a pair of hogshead casks from October 1996 to March 2021. Following that 24 year long slumber, the whisky was bottled up at cask strength for the (aptly-named) Cask Strength Collection, with an outturn of 538 bottles.
Fresh florals with whispers of syrup-soaked waffles and banana chips underneath.
Toasty spices take shape on the palate, with nutmeg and ginger at the fore, mellowed by layers of honey and malt.
A subtle citrus flash, with more honey.
