Single cask Benrinnes from the ever-wonderful Hunter Laing! Distilled in 2006, this Speysider spent 15 years in a single refill hogshead, until it was bottled for The First Editions series at cask strength.
Nose: Homemade jam on sourdough, buttery vanilla, peppery oak, and ripe peach.
Palate: Creamy malt, gingersnap biscuits, stewed apple, and more fresh stone fruit.
Finish: Fresh croissant, toffee, and baking spices.
