Bourbon
An independently bottled single malt from the Benrinnes Distillery, matured in a pair of bourbon barrels for a dozen years, from September 2008 to March 2021. Brilliantly creamy, with a good helping of orchard fruit and warm oak spice at its core.
Buttery vanilla and thick honey on granary bread. Hints of warm sawdust and cask char.
More buttery notes, now paired with lemon zest and ripe nectarine. A pinch of peppermint and vegetal oak.
Waxy peels, white chocolate, and butterscotch.
