This was distilled at the Benrinnes distillery in Winter 1999. It was then aged for 12 years in a single sherry butt before bottling in 2011 for Douglas Laing's cracking Provenance range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Spiced and sweet, Scotch tablet, cooked banana, cinnamon and cookie dough ice-cream.

Palate: Oily and rich palate with sweet barley malt, manuka honey and spongecake. Hints of nutmeg develop.

Finish: Long with a sudden surge of buttery sweetness.
