The flagship expression from the Benriach distillery. This 10 year old Speyside single malt is drawn from ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks after at least a decade of slumber, resulting in a malt that shows off the distillery's style wonderfully. Expect hearty barley backed up by orchard fruit and toasted almond, alongside just a hint of herbaceous oak.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Citrus-forward, with gingerbread and cinnamon in support.
Fried banana, brown sugar, powerful barley notes driving it all along.
Lasting hints of peppery malt and vanilla custard.

I was given a bottle of the 10yr old BenRaich single malt, and with out knowing it's history felt that it was a likened to a very smooth Kentucky Bourbon. Although I like the peat flavor of some Scotch I would recommend this fine whiskey. Touched my palate, all the right ingredients with beautiful flavor.
Wow! I really love everything I have had from Benriach and this is no exception. This is just classic Speyside, raisins ,apples ,cinnamon, oak, even a hint of peaches all work in harmony. Amazing For a 10 year better than a lot of 12 years olds I have had from Speyside. Excellent dessert dram. Cheers! The Sugarbear
I thought I bought the smoky expression but hey, what a suprise! For this price this is a really good speyside.

Very nice. Fruit cake and dried fruits. Lovely fresh citrus finish. Really decent drop for the price this one. Recommended. With a few drops of water obviously.
