A 15 year old single malt from the Balvenie distillery, released as part of their second chapter of their DCS Compendium, honouring the many, many years that David Stewart has spent as Malt Master. The second chapter looks at "The Influence of Oak", and this whisky was aged in a Pedro Ximénez Sherry butt from April 2001 to August 2016. A release of 368 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Producer's Tasting Notes:
Nose: Deep and intensely fruity, peaches and mango, soft vanilla with layers of brown sugar and oak spices.
Palate: Syrupy with a toffee sweetness, a touch of spicy ginger overlaid with gentle oak tannins.
Finish: A fruity sweetness with gentle oak vanilla and spices.
