Aultmore 11 Year Old 2006 - North Star Spirits
An 11 year old bottling of Aultmore single malt, distilled in October 2006 and left to age in a refill hogshead cask. In February 2018, it was bottled at cask strength by North Star Spirits, producing just 150 bottles of vanilla-rich Speyside whisky.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Chocolate, banana and a whiff of gristy malt.
Palate
Spicy at first with fresh cedar and cassia. Generous waves of caramel and butterscotch bring welcome sweetness.
Finish
Kumquat and lime juiciness.
