A Douglas Laing Provenance bottling of 8 year old Auchroisk single malt, drawn from a refill hogshead. The aforementioned hogshead was filled in April 2008 and cracked open by Douglas Laing in November 2016 - 249 bottles were produced.
Dried oak, sticky toffee pudding, orange blossom.
Quite rich for an 8 year old whisky! Loads of caramel and honey, with a soft though lingering hint of cinnamon.
Malty and long. A hint of dark chocolate.
